The Only You
No one else can ever be you. You are unique and no matter what others say, unique is the best of things. I used to try to please these people. I would wear what they wore, say what they would say, and do what they did. I felt controlled and like I could never be happy unless I was EXACTLY like them. My true self was hidden from others, all they saw was a robot of someone else. I had no clue how to dig out of this hole that I buried myself in so deeply.
I turned to poems and music for advice. That's one of the best things that I have ever done for myself. I felt as though the poems and the songs gave me the strength I needed to be me! I slowly began to know myself, trust myself, love myself, and be myself! From this, I learned the biggest lesson of all; happiness doesn't come with a manual, happiness comes from within yourself. I made new friends who liked me for me, who didn't make me be someone I'm not. I laughed more, and I no longer felt controlled. In my heart, I knew that as long as I believed in myself, I could do anything I set my heart to.
If you don't learn anything from this blog, at least know this; NO ONE is YOU-ER than YOU. You are the only other you, and it's about time the world knows that too. Prove those people wrong, show them that life can be run without a manual. Most of all prove to them that you are unique, and unique is the best of things.

The True Teen Years
All my thoughts, feelings, and emotions spilled to all my readers. I know what it's like to be a teenager, I am one! I created this blog to help other teens like myself through the hard times and to give encouragement. I will put all the cards on the table, talking about the darkest of places in a teenage mind. This blog is the entrance to the teenage soul.
